Welcome to What’s Your Gam3? #24 My aim with everything I do is to introduce you to new games! As I continue to improve the newsletter, all feedback is gratefully received. Now, let’s see what has happened this week.

Kingdom So

A 2D virtual gaming world with a Web3 economy.

Build a kingdom, Farm, Gather, Cook, Craft & Trade.

TLDR: 

• Cute graphics

• Variety of farming options (literal farming)

• Slow-paced to start

• Expensive expansion

• Would recommend it to the right audience

How to play

• Free to play

• Browser

Game Loop

• You can quickly sign up using your web2 credentials

• You start in the central hub with Gus, the chef

  

• Gus will give you your first quests to start you on your farming adventure

• In the beginning, you have five hearts; these represent your energy. Your heart pool increases as you level up.

• Each action costs energy to complete.

• Once your energy is depleted, you must either wait for it to refill or eat food.

• You’ll see a selection of different players' tiles around the map.

• On these tiles, you can collect a range of plants, vegetables, and flowers

• You will also see a fire icon, and you can use the fire to cook food

• If you use someone else's fire, they get some of the food you cook

  

• You also have gold, which is used for trading.

• Players will have a trade “Dropbox” where they can buy and sell produce

• Gus is only one of many quest-givers. Each time you complete a quest, you get a reward and some XP.

• As you level, you unlock more aspects of the game, such as being able to chop trees.

• To start your farm, you need land. You get one for “free,” but after that, you need to use gold to buy more.

• The gold can be purchased with ETH or earned in-game by selling to other players.

• On your home tile, you can create farmland and add cosmetics and workbenches.

Game feel

• I was lucky to be given some gold initially; otherwise, progress would have been much slower.

• Not having multiple land plots can limit what you can achieve in-game

• As only specific plots allow public lumberjacking, it can be difficult to complete quests

• Buying gold and land is pretty pricey

• It is hard to know what the critical objective is

• The graphics are cute and engaging

• Seeing your farm and plants grow is satisfying

  

• It is more of a casual engagement than anything sweaty

• Quests are varied but focus mainly on fetch quests

• The community events are an excellent way to bring everyone together

• I played it often until I got busy and forgot for a day or 2, making it hard to get back into the flow.

Rating

• Farming is satisfying

• Community events are enjoyable

• Leveling can be slow

• Limited time demand

• It is a bit pricey for expansion

• I liked the art style

• Overall, I would recommend it, but only to those who already enjoy farming games

Web3 integration

• The game has some on-chain skins and cosmetics.

Development and Team

• The project experienced significant setbacks due to issues with original founders, leading to a restart in development in December 2022 with a restructured team.

• Despite these challenges, the team is focused on long-term success, emphasizing a commitment to the community and project longevity.

Game Features and Gameplay

• BEO MMORPG is designed to be a cross-platform game available on PC, Mac, and Android, with plans to expand to iOS.

• The game integrates NFTs and crypto elements, offering unique gameplay features like land ownership, farming mechanics, and customizable assets.

• A user-generated content (UGC) tool allows players to design and build within the game, adding a creative and personalized touch to the gaming experience.

Economy and Tokenization

• The project plans to introduce an ERC-20 token, facilitating a play-to-earn model that rewards active gameplay.

• The token will play a crucial role in the game’s economy, enabling transactions, crafting, and potentially tokenizing blueprints for user-created items.

• Focusing on a sustainable and fair economic model ensures that gameplay remains accessible and enjoyable for all players and avoids pay-to-win pitfalls.

• The development team is highly responsive to community feedback, actively engaging with players through Discord and other channels.

• User feedback is considered integral to the game’s development process, influencing updates and new features.

Future Developments and Updates

• The team outlined plans for continuous updates and feature releases, aiming to enrich the gameplay experience and expand the game’s universe.

• Upcoming updates are set to introduce more complex game mechanics, enhanced UGC tools, and expanded cross-platform compatibility.

Introduction

Wild Forest stands as Ronin Chain's latest blockbuster game, offering players a PvP real-time strategy experience on a single screen. In this game, you construct a formidable card deck to vanquish your adversaries.

P2A Campaign TLDR:

• Lasting for four weeks,

• The top 4000 players with the highest Honor will earn $WF tokens,

• Anyone with 4000+ Honor is eligible for a raffle spot,

• Honor points are earned by completing Wild Forest Play-to-Airdrop achievements or possessing Wild Forest NFTs,

Play-To-Airdrop Campaign Overview:

• The Wild Forest P2A campaign is where players vie for $WF token rewards! Throughout the event, players undertake tasks to accrue Honor points.

• Honor points are awarded for achieving Wild Forest Play-to-Airdrop milestones or holding Wild Forest NFTs. The more Honor you amass, the higher your standing on the Play-to-Airdrop Scoreboard and, consequently, the more airdrop tokens you'll receive upon the game's release.

• The top 4000 players with the most Honor earned during the Play-to-Airdrop event will be granted $WF tokens. Additionally, all other players with 4000+ Honor will participate in an airdrop raffle, with an extra 1000 spots up for grabs. These rewards will be distributed as off-chain $WF tokens upon the game's release, which can be utilized in-game or converted 1-to-1 into on-chain $WF.

  

• To participate, install Wild Forest, log in using your Sky Mavis account, and connect a Ronin wallet to your Sky Mavis account.

Wild Forest Game Overview:
