Welcome

Lead your troops, reclaim America, and survive the apocalypse! Alpha is available worldwide on iOS & Android.

TLDR:
  • Engaging graphics and animations

  • Simple game loop

  • Extra meta games to keep you in the app

  • Number go up gameplay is satisfying

  • Already has ads enabled

How to play
  • Playable on mobile

  • Free to play with ads and in-app purchases

Game Loop
  • The core loop is simple - your character continuously runs and attacks zombies.

  • As you kill the zombies, you receive gold

  • This gold can be spent to increase various player stats

  • The loop continues infinitely

  • They offer several other mini-games outside the core loop to keep you in the app.

  • There is a miner who gives rewards in crystals.

  • These crystals are then spent on research to increase your damage per second in the core loop.

  • Another mini-game is camp defense, in which you have more character control and must defend the camp from zombie waves.

  • This gives rewards that can be spent in the shop to increase your DPS.

Game feel
  • Number go-up gameplay is very engaging in short bursts

  • The game continues playing while you are AFK

  • I like that they have a lot of mini-games to keep me in the app

  • There is no stress to play; it is a casual, violent, yet relaxing gameplay

  • The integration of ADs is not offensive, and I often watched them to speed stuff up or get bonuses.

  • I wasn’t convinced to make any in-app purchases, though

Rating

  • The game does have potential, and the look is clean and appealing

  • How much it differentiates itself from others on the app store will need to be seen

  • If you enjoy idle games, I think you’ll enjoy this - if you are after a more active experience, you should probably pass on this one.

  • I enjoyed it and would recommend playing it. I continued playing after I’d played enough for the review.

Web3 integration

  • Unannounced
